Command (Yellow) Materia: This Materia allows you to preform different Commands during a batle. Such as Steal, Sense, Enemy Skill, ect.
Support (Blue) Materia: Allows you to add effects to other Materia's. Such as All, Added Effect, Counter, ect.
Independant (Pink) Materia: This Materia helps you get the upper hand in a battle or on the map. Such Materia's as Chocobo Lure, Pre-Emptive, HP Plus, ect.
Summon (Red) Materia: This is the BEST Materia of em all! This helps you Summon an Ally with it corresponding Materia. For Example, Summon Knights of the Round and they attack the enemy once for you! With TONS-O-DAMAGE!
