The Ultimate Online Guide to the Ultimate RPG of '97!
What can you get out of helping innocent Miners from the evil claw of the Shinra Company?
How about a summon called Phoenix and a chunk of HUGE Materia!

Squaresoft Presents
FINAL FANTASY VII

What's going on?
Here's the scoop! The Shinra is egar to destroy the large Condor that sits upon one of it's MANY Mako Reactors, but here in Fort Condor they've grown to love the giant bird. What you don't know is that the Shinra wants to get the HUGE Materia that sits within the Reactor which is inexcesssible since the bird is sitting on the "front door". Later in the story you'll need to get all of the HUGE Materia and in order to get the HUGE Materia in Fort Condor you need to destroy any Shinra Troops that enter the area. It's one helluva mini-game!
Must I fight this battle?
No. You don't HAVE to. But if you want to master every part of FFVII you need to get this Materia.
Where is Fort Condor?
Fort Condor is located just South-East of Junon and North of Mideel. You can't miss it. It's a blue tower with a large Gold bird sitting on the top of it on a large hill of sand.
So what do I need?
It's better to have a lot of Gil to complete this mission cause hiring of the soilders cost a pretty penny or two. You meet up with them twice. Once in CD #1 and another time anywhere in CD #2 or #3. It depend wheater or not you want to fight.
How to start.....
Okay, here's how to start. Go inside Fort Condor and talk to the old man sitting down on the bech. Agree to help and he'll let you have access to the shops and beds. Then go upstairs (up a rope) and talk to the guy looking out the window. Spare any money you can. Then come back in CD #2 or #3 and spare more cash. Then it's time to hire some soilders. Get info from picking and chosing topics while talking to the guy.
Operation Condor (sorry but I had to use that name)
The easiest way to win is to pack as many DEFENDERS as possible along the hill. When the battle starts move them ALL down the hill to the bottom. As baddies walk up ATTACK! If a soilder dies, quickly find an empty spot on the hill and hit circle. Then choose to replace the fighter. Keep moving down and block the openings. When you close the gaps and kill the baddies the battle is over! If you don't and wait for a while a BIG ENEMY will walk up the hill (sorta the BOSS of the game). If he gets there just throw all guys on him. Make sure NO enemies go near the wooden shed on the top of the hill or it's lights out! Congrads, you just woin the fight. Now go outside the door to your left after the battle, wactch a cool FMV sequence and collect your Phoenix Materia left behind by the Condor. Then go downstairs to the old guy and talk to him. He'll toss you the HUGE Materia!
